What is Aashirwad

A blessing, wrapped around a gift.

Aashirwad means "blessing" — the word an elder says while gently placing a hand on your head. We built a platform around that gesture: when you send money for someone's birthday, wedding or new home, it arrives with your voice, your words, your face — not just a number in their bank app.

How we got here.

2022

An idea, from a wedding card

Aashirwad began as a side project — a way to send wedding shagun to family abroad without it feeling like a wire transfer.

2023

First 10,000 Aashirwads

Word spread through family WhatsApp groups before it spread anywhere else. That's still true today.

2024

Donation campaigns launch

We introduced verified social causes alongside personal gifting, starting with education and disaster relief.

2025

Aashirwad crosses 41 cities

From Kochi to Kashmir, celebrations and causes now move through the platform every day.

We collect only the information needed to provide the requested service. Contact details submitted for gifts or Eventer registration should be stored securely and retained only as long as necessary.

For event organisers

Create your Eventer account.

Register an event, manage its Aashirwad experience, and keep the account available for 30 days after the event is completed.

✓ Account data is stored in Cloudflare D1.
✓ Your event completion date controls automatic account cleanup.
✓ 30 days after completion, the Eventer account is permanently deleted by a scheduled Worker job.

Eventer signup

Use an email you can access. Dates are stored in UTC-compatible ISO format.

By creating the account, you acknowledge that the account and associated Eventer profile are scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days after the completion date. Change the completion date through an admin before then if the event is extended.
